When I re-scan the QR code, new messages will be received, but as soon as I try to send a message from the web/desktop app it bounces back to the error. I downloaded the desktop app and tried there, but same issue: I keep getting the notification "Phone not connected" when I am certain it most definitely is. I have tried to delete the app on the Launchpad then download the aoftware from Whatsapp website and reinstall, but it does not work. Hey all, for a few days now, I've been having a recurring issue where the web app would disconnect and I would have to re-scan the QR code to get it back up and running.Īs of today, however, when I scan the QR code the app will connect to my phone, but won't let me send any messages via the web app. I recently updated my Whatsapp Desktop to Version 2.2029.4, when I click the icon to open but does not open anymore.
